Tenisha Wilkins
Player Development Head Coach
Since her coaching career began in 2000-2003 with Kane County Jrs., student assistant in 2003 at Northern Illinois University, women’s assistant at Robert Morris College (Chicago) in 2004, head coach at Simeon Career Academy from 2007-2010, master coach of 13s through 18s for Club Kace from 2008-2016, and 2021 volunteer assistant to Depaul University, Wilkins has secured a diverse coaching portfolio.
Tenisha played collegiate volleyball at Northern Illinois University from 1999-2002, where she helped the Huskies to a Mid-American Conference Championship in 2001, earning an appearance in the NCAA Division I Tournament. Prior to that, Tenisha played for three years at Sports Performance Volleyball club and in 1999 became an 18s AAU National Championship Silver Medalist. Her high school career boasts back to back Chicago Public League Volleyball Championship wins in 1997 and 1998 with Simeon Career Academy. The Chicago native graduated from NIU with a bachelor’s degree in Communications and a minor in English in 2004. Tenisha is a devoted mother of three to Marley (15), Mylen (13), and Miller (9).
