Historically the Midwest has been known for its large talent pool of some of the nation’s most talented women volleyball players. Some of the top club programs and schools have been able to compete in tournaments where its players can attract the eyes of college coaches from some of the top Div I, II, and III volleyball programs. But what about those players who have the desire and the talent but don’t play for some of these top clubs or attend a school that is not known for playing high-level volleyball? How do those players gain the attention of College coaches if they don’t have the same platforms to showcase their talent?
HB See You, wants to be able to provide a stage for all young women with dreams of playing volleyball at the college level with an opportunity to showcase their talent. We recognize that not all players are able to participate on travel teams or attend schools that have a high focus on volleyball. So we created a platform where players could receive the same training and exposure through our Combine and Exposure Camp.
Additionally, we wanted to provide Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU), small to mid-sized NCAA and NAIA Div I, II, III, and several regional junior colleges, that have some great volleyball programs with an opportunity to come, see, and potential recruit some of the nation's most talented players that don’t always get the opportunity to play on the big stage.
The HB See You Volleyball Combine and Exposure Camp will provide high school girls from all levels of play, including club and nonclub players, an opportunity to showcase their talents and receive on-court skills coaching from some of the best college coaches in the business.
